Dan Moran - Intentional Interim PastorAfter over a decade in marketing, Dan chose to follow God’s calling and enter into full-time ministry as founder/director of Dan Moran Ministries, Inc. He has served as Associate Director for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes of North Alabama and is a former President of the Conference of Southern Baptist Evangelist of Alabama.
He is passionate about leading people of this generation to meet Christ where they are. Dan’s speaking schedule each year consists of “One-day Harvest” meetings, church renewal/revivals, retreats, camps and conferences across America. Dan and Debbie have been married for over 30 years and they have one son, Seth.

Jon Price - Discipleship Pastor
Jon has served at First Baptist since June 2003 (initially as the Minister to Students). He has been in student ministry for 25 years and has served in Florida, Alabama and Texas. He received his bachelors degree in Religion at Samford University and his Masters of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Jon's role now covers Sunday school, Discipleship and Assimilation. Jon is still involved in student ministry as a volunteer and as the West Metro Youth Ministry Coach for the Georgia Baptist Convention and a certified Sunday school equipper and trainer. Originally from Bradenton, Florida, he and his wife April have two children, Sydney and Boone.
Jeff Powell - Pastor of Administration, Missions and Sr. AdultsJeff joined the First Baptist team November 2007. Jeff was born in Rockmart Georgia on May 1, 1960. He married Donna Fetkenhour March 15, 1980 and they have two sons, Phillip, 25 and Alan, 23. Jeff graduated from Cedartown High School and from Shorter College with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He has been in church ministry for a total of 30 years beginning serving his first part time church at the age of 17. His years of service have taken him to several cities in Georgia beginning with Rome and moving to Cedartown, Newnan, Warner Robins, Dallas, Marietta and finally to Villa Rica. Donna has been an integral part of his ministry in each place the Lord has placed them. His responsibilities have included Music, Youth, Education, Administration, Missions, Buildings and Grounds and Senior Adults. His hobbies include golf, fishing and cooking. His passion is to serve the Lord and His church.

Richard has been a member of First Baptist since August 2008. He and his wife Stephanie have served as youth workers since 2009. Both Richard and Stephanie serve in several areas of youth and children's ministries. Richard started serving as a youth ministry intern/assistant to Jon in May of 2010 after feeling called to serve students in a larger capacity. In November of 2011 he accepted the position of Youth Pastor here at First Baptist. His responsibilities will be to serve and lead middle school, high school, and college students. Richard has served as a campus coach for first priority at both Villa Rica middle school, and high school. Prior to serving here he worked in a business management career with Publix Supermarkets for 13 years. He is in the process of attaining a Bachelor of Arts in Religion/Apologetics at Luther Rice Seminary in Lithonia, Ga.

Lisa Hawkins - Director of Preschool & Children's Ministries
Lisa has served as the Director of Children's Ministries for the past 5 years. She has also served the church as the Assistant to the Minister of Administration/Education, and prior to that she served as the Director of the Weekday Program at First Baptist for six years. She was born in Alabama but has lived in Tennessee, Missouri, and South Carolina. She and her family have resided in Georgia for the past 14 years. Lisa graduated summa cum laude from the University of West Georgia in 2006 with a B.A. in Psychology, and a minor in English. Lisa and her husband, Gary, have three children, Matt, Jessica, and Alex.
